The Watchtower and the United Nations Randall Watters

For decades, the Watch Tower has been saying… Be no part of the world Do not participate in nationalistic activities, such as voting The United Nations is the image of Satan’s organization and will be destroyed Members will be disfellowshipped for voting, taking a blood transfusion, or getting   involved in political organizations

The real issue… …is NEUTRALITY and keeping apart from the politics of the world, which will brand one with the mark of the “wild beast” of Revelation. Being no part of the world, they say. Example 1 Example 2

Several interesting developments… The Watchtower has most recently compromised its LONG-HELD principles regarding neutrality. Governments in Europe are promised by the WT that the WT will not prohibit their members from voting in elections. Governments in Europe are promised by the WT that the WT will not automatically disfellowship a member for taking a blood transfusion.

But as of 1991, apparently the rules have secretly changed! The WT filled out an application and joined the United Nations as an NGO. What’s an NGO? What’s required? Were those who signed up now apostates? Have they been fulfilling their requirements?

Who is responsible? Perhaps “apostates” have infiltrated? Are those in charge at Bethel aware of this? Apparently so, since the names of Lloyd Barry (Governing Body), Ciro Aulicino (Writing Dept.), and Robert Johnson (Service Dept.) appear in the registry. Barry passed away  recently while giving a talk, but Aulicino and Johnson are still at Bethel.

What Can You Do? Share this URL with others on the internet (please do not spam JW lists) Talk to local news agencies Talk to Witnesses about it that come to your door… Ask if they are aware of this. Emphasize to JWs their long-term stance against involvement with the world, especially the beast of Revelation!
