Many former Jehovah Witnesses come to the support group in Boston, but other people who have left destructive cults come also. This service has been around since 1991 and any who feel like asking questions about cults in general of where to go for information this place could be a stepping stone to recovery. We tend to shy away from theology arguments. We tend to stick to issues that deal with "mind control" and cultic abuse and the many ways that is done by the major cults. We believe in the BITE method of cult control which consist of control of: Behavior Information Thoughts Emotions The last point of cultic control is what I have coined the Ahithophel Syndrome. has suddenly closed and is renamed and I do not know that name. I know that you
have helped me look at things before making any decisions. You've set a good
example and this new group (thehopetucsongroup@yahoo.com)
is new and I'm still learning and in the creating stages. We (Wally, holly, Ben,
etc) have decided that everything will be a group decision and we want to help
by giving our experience, strength and hope. Hopefully we can also provide
solutions that can help in any transitions. We've been able to put most things
in God's hands and we talk about what we're grateful for. Cindy asked me to join
